We can host email on the site (with web or POP3 access), but due to space limitations, I would prefer to just use email forwarding. We could all have addresses with the bugireland domain and one address which always redirects to whoever is organising the next meeting.

Discussion software

I'm using L-Forum for the discussion forums. It is a free, open-source PHP script. I'll make the style more closely match the rest of the site at a later stage. I might eventually write one myself to replace this.

News page

The news on the main page is a free service from Vibrant Media. I suspect that a lot of the articles are actually press releases which companies pay to have presented as "news".
